Dennis F. Vronay

Dennis Vronay, M.S. has more than 35 years of experience performing and managing complex and highly technical engineering programs. Based on strong academic and professional experience with computer-aided analysis tools, his career has included progressive roles in the engineering management field, including the management of analysis and R&D teams and eventually complete product and program management for NASA and the U.S. Department of Defense.

Dennis provides overall direction and guidance to the operational activities of Vronay Engineering acting as a technical advisor in the area of applied engineering mechanics. He also provides guidance on planning and business development based on his knowledge of the economic climate and assists with the formation of policies for the direction of new technology growth, working with the President.

Dennis earned a Bachelor of Science in aeronautical engineering from the Parks College of Engineering at St. Louis University. He received a Master of Science in engineering mechanics from Wichita State University and an MBA in technology management and finance from the University of California, Davis.

Dennis was among those pioneering the use of finite element analysis for use in the design of aeronautical structures. He wrote and assisted with the development of numerical methods and analysis techniques, many of which are considered common today in commercially available analysis codes.

His career highlights include:

  • 30+ 5years extensive and progressively responsible hands-on engineering analysis, program management, engineering management and proposal/business development experience in the aerospace industry
  • Strong technical background in CAE, FAE, applied mechanics, vibration/structural dynamics analysis, analytical computer methods and related code development
  • Hands-on experience with department startups and management, proposal generation, engineering product development, and project/program management
  • Experience in commercial, NASA and high-security DOD C/SCSC environments
