John C. Vronay

John Charles Vronay, P.E. has more than 25 years of experience working with reciprocating, internal combustion engines on projects ranging from component design and analysis to complete engine system and power station design and commissioning. His experience spans a wide variety of reciprocating engine application and development work, from large, high-output marine diesel engines to the high-performance automotive engine aftermarket. John has been recognized and provided testimony as an expert on the subject of reciprocating internal combustion engines in U.S. federal and state courts.
John earned Bachelor of Science degrees in Marine Engineering and in Mechanical Engineering from the California Maritime Academy and a Masters degree in Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He’s a Registered Professional Engineer licensed to practice mechanical engineering in the state of California and is a licensed U.S. Coast Guard Marine Engineer qualified to serve aboard steam- or motor-powered vessels of unlimited horsepower.
As the founder and President of Vronay Engineering, John oversees all projects and guides the direction of the company.
